Current Season

Couple holding hands with autism symbol.

Aut Is Love is a romantic comedy based on the true story of a young couple who both fall on the Autism Spectrum. They learn to navigate the neurotypical dominated world together while building a relationship based on support, neurodiversity, communication, love, and correcting each other's grammar.

Nathan Selove, a Master's student in the Performance Studies emphasis, presents this performance as part of his Master's thesis. "Too often romance and Autism are considered incompatible. Aut Is Love is a rejection of this notion. It is the true story about the relationship between myself and a girl that I met several years ago. We learn to navigate a world that considered our love an outlier. Together we overcame the struggles of unemployment, car accidents, and small talk."
